UP1200 is a dual‑channel dedicated charger for agricultural drone lithium batteries, designed for 6‑12S LiPo and high‑voltage LiHV packs. Each channel independently delivers 600W, for a total of 1200W. It eliminates complex mode switching and current adjustments — users simply select one of the fixed current settings (2A/5A/8A/10A/15A) and press the “Start/Stop” button for one‑touch charging. The aluminium‑alloy body is lightweight and portable, and the built‑in active PFC protection system allows connection to generators, making it ideal for outdoor agricultural operations. The intelligent charging management system supports balanced charging and storage (maintenance) modes, and includes multiple protections such as short‑circuit, reverse‑polarity, and over‑temperature. It is CE, FCC and RoHS certified for safety and reliability.

Q2: How should I choose the charge current, and does it affect battery life?

The charger offers fixed settings of 2A, 5A, 8A, 10A and 15A. Choose according to battery capacity and the manufacturer’s recommended charge rate. Higher currents (e.g. 15A) enable fast recharging, but frequent high‑current charging may reduce cycle life. Lower currents (2A‑5A) are gentler and suitable for storage or maintenance. Operators can switch flexibly based on their work rhythm.

Q3: How does the storage mode work, and why is it beneficial?

Storage mode (maintenance mode) automatically charges or discharges each cell to a safe storage voltage (typically 3.8‑3.85V/cell), preventing long‑term over‑charge or under‑charge that can cause swelling or capacity degradation. It significantly extends battery life and is recommended after the work season or whenever the battery will not be used for more than 3 days.
