Usage Recommendations
- Power Supply Configuration is Key to Performance: To fully utilize the UP8's total power of 600W in DC mode (300W per channel), it is highly recommended to use an industrial switching power supply with a rated output above 30V/25A or a high-capacity LiPo battery pack. Using an insufficient power source will limit the charger's performance and may cause overload damage to the power supply.
- Make Good Use of "Storage" Mode for Battery Maintenance: After each use, always use the "Storage" function to automatically charge/discharge the lithium battery (LiPo/LiHV) to the recommended storage voltage of about 3.85V/cell. This is the most important step to extend battery cycle life and prevent swelling.

Q2: When using wireless phone charging, will it affect the charging speed of the batteries?
A2: It will basically not affect. The wireless charging module is independently designed with a maximum power consumption of only 10W. The charger's power management system prioritizes the power requirements of the two battery channels. The wireless charging function is equivalent to an "additional" convenience feature.
Q3: How is the external discharge mode specifically used? What are its advantages over internal discharge?
A3: You need to purchase the dedicated UP-D200 discharger and connect it to the charger's "EXT.DISCH" port via a cable. Its core advantages are threefold:
- Extremely Fast: Discharge power up to 200W, far exceeding the internal discharge of 5-10W, improving efficiency by tens of times when handling high-capacity batteries.
- Safe Balancing: Performs balancing function even during high-speed discharge, ensuring all cells are at consistent voltage at the storage voltage.
