It can also be paired with the UB4-PRO Manager to charge up to 8 batteries at once, eliminating the need for frequent battery swaps.

Independent Dual Channels: This drone charger supports independent dual-channel output, allowing you to charge 2 batteries simultaneously. Q3: Can I use the U4-HP with third-party batteries (non-EV-PEAK smart batteries)?
Yes. The U4-HP is compatible with standard LiPo and LiHV battery types, not just EV-PEAK's own smart batteries. However, for non-smart batteries, we recommend double-checking the cell count and voltage parameters before charging to avoid configuration errors.
Q4: Is the U4-HP complicated to operate? Does it require tedious setup?
Not at all. The U4-HP supports one-button start charging with automatic battery information recognition, eliminating the need for complex settings. Simply connect the main and balance leads of the battery and press the start button. The LCD screen will display real-time information including operating mode, battery current, voltage, charging time, and capacity.
Q5: Can the two channels charge different types or cell counts of batteries?
The U4-HP's two channels are independently output, each with its own separate operating interface. In theory, you can connect batteries of different states or even different cell counts for charging. However, we recommend carefully verifying each battery's parameter settings during actual operation to avoid errors.
Q6: What operating modes are available on the charger?
The U4-HP offers three charging modes: Fast Charge, Standard Charge, and Slow Charge, allowing you to choose based on your needs. It also features a Storage mode, which charges or discharges the battery to a voltage suitable for long-term storage.
Q7: What should I do if the screen doesn't turn on or the charger won't start after connection?
Please follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure the power cord is properly connected and the outlet has power.
2. Confirm the power switch on the back of the charger is set to the "ON" position.
3. Check that the AC input voltage is within the 100-240V range.
4. For agricultural sites using portable distribution boxes, check for poor contact or excessive voltage drop due to frequent plugging and unplugging.
Q8: What do the error messages on the charger mean?
When the charger is used improperly or encounters a fault, it will display error messages. Common errors include:

Not necessarily. Common reasons why an agricultural drone charger may fail to charge include:
1. Poor contact at the interface (oxidized metal contacts, dust/oil buildup, loose pins).
2. Battery protection mechanisms triggered (over-discharge, over-temperature, etc.).
3. Charging environment temperature outside the safe range (below 5°C or above 40°C).
4. Insufficient load capacity of the power outlet.
We recommend systematically checking these reversible factors first before concluding the charger itself is faulty.
Q10: How effective is the U4-HP's heat dissipation? Will it overheat during prolonged use in high-temperature field conditions?
The U4-HP features a sturdy, lightweight aluminum alloy frame and large aluminum heatsinks, providing excellent fire resistance and heat dissipation to prevent damage from lightning, overvoltage, or power surges. However, in high-temperature summer field conditions, we recommend placing the charger in a shaded, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, and regularly cleaning the dust filters on the air intake and exhaust vents.

Always place the charger and batteries on a fireproof, non-conductive surface. Never place them on flammable surfaces like car seats. Also, avoid using the charger in rain, damp environments, or other adverse weather conditions.

EV-PEAK provides a one-year warranty for its chargers from the date of purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not cover damage resulting from user misuse, abuse, or operation outside specified parameters.
