A: Yes, it accepts standard PWM signals (50-500Hz). However, ensure your FC's `MOT_PWM_MIN` and `MOT_PWM_MAX` are set precisely to 1100 and 1940 respectively. The X9 utilizes a fixed FOC throttle map, and altering these limits in the FC will result in nonlinear thrust curves or sync issues.
Q: Does this system support CAN Bus telemetry?
A: Out of the box, standard agricultural versions use PWM with a separate RPM phase-wire output for feedback. If integrating with ArduPilot/PX4 for real-time ESC telemetry (voltage, current, RPM, temp), you will need a compatible Hobbywing DataLink module or specific CAN-enabled variants of the ESC board.
Q: What is the recommended maintenance interval for the motor bearings operating in high-dust agricultural environments?
A: Despite the IPX6 rating protecting internal stators from dust and liquid intrusion, mechanical bearings are subject to wear. In highly abrasive environments (like crop dusting), we recommend a structural and acoustic inspection every 100 flight hours, and prophylactic bearing replacement every 300 flight hours to prevent catastrophic mid-air lockup.
