Xingtuo Li-Polymer 12S 340Wh/kg Drone Battery Series (28Ah / 40Ah) features high-energy-density cells with 340 Wh/kg, delivering longer endurance at the same weight. Designed for industrial drones and high-power applications, it offers excellent rate discharge performance: standard 0.5 C, continuous 3 C, and instantaneous peak 10 C (≤ 3 s) to meet takeoff, hover, and sudden power demands. The battery pack includes a balanced charging interface and strict charge/discharge management, ensuring cycle life: ≥ 800 cycles at 0.5 C charge / 1 C discharge (100 % DOD) and ≥ 500 cycles at 1 C charge / 3 C discharge (100 % DOD). Factory voltage is stable at 42 V ~ 43.2 V, and the batteries are verified for high/low temperature performance (–20 °C discharge capacity ≥ 70 % of initial, 55 °C discharge capacity ≥ 98 % of initial), adapting to various demanding working conditions. Two capacities are available: 12S28AH (28Ah) and 12S40AH (40Ah), with identical electrical characteristics — only capacity, dimensions, weight, and corresponding current values differ, allowing flexible choice based on drone payload and endurance requirements.

Both models share identical electrical characteristics (nominal voltage, cut‑off voltages, internal resistance, cycle life, temperature ranges, etc.). The only differences are capacity, dimensions, weight, and corresponding charge/discharge current values. 12S28AH is smaller, lighter, and has lower capacity; 12S40AH is larger, heavier, and has higher capacity. Choose based on your drone's payload capability and required flight time.
Q2: How do I select the right model for my drone?
First, ensure your device supports 44.4 V. Then measure your battery compartment to verify it fits the dimensions of the chosen model (28AH: 130×76×196 mm; 40AH: 138×92×213 mm). For longer flight times, a higher‑capacity model is recommended, but be aware of the added weight's impact on flight performance.
Q3: How should I set charge current and voltage?
Standard charge current is 0.5 C (14 A for 28AH, 20 A for 40AH). Maximum continuous charge current does not exceed 1 C (28 A for 28AH, 40 A for 40AH). Charge cut‑off voltage is 50.4 V (4.2 V per cell) with a cut‑off current of 0.02 C. Always use a professional charger with balancing capability and never exceed the specified voltage.
Q4: What should I pay attention to during discharge?
Standard discharge current is 0.5 C (corresponding to the model's value). Continuous discharge current must not exceed 3 C, and instantaneous peak must not exceed 10 C for ≤ 3 seconds. Discharge cut‑off voltage is 31.2 V (2.6 V per cell) – deep discharge is strictly prohibited.
Q5: What is the cycle life of the battery?
Both models achieve ≥ 800 cycles at 0.5 C charge / 1 C discharge (100 % DOD), and ≥ 500 cycles at 1 C charge / 3 C discharge (100 % DOD).
Q6: How should I store the battery for long periods?
For long‑term storage (over 3 months), keep in a dry, cool place. Perform a charge/discharge maintenance cycle every 3 months. Storage voltage should be 45.6 – 46.8 V (3.80 – 3.90 V per cell), temperature –10 to 35 °C, and humidity below 75 % RH.
Q7: What state of charge should the battery have for shipping?
Shipping state of charge should be 40 % – 60 %, with cell voltage at 3.7 – 3.9 V.
Q8: Can I continue using a swollen or deformed battery?
No. A swollen or deformed battery is highly flammable. Stop using it immediately and dispose of it properly.
Q9: What happens if I reverse the polarity?
Reverse polarity is strictly prohibited. It may cause a short circuit, damage the battery, fire, or even explosion.
Q10: Is supervision required during charging?
Yes. The charging process must be continuously monitored by a person to prevent accidents.
Q11: Can the connector type be customised?
Yes. As noted in the specification, lead length, power terminals, and balance connectors are optional. Please specify your desired connector type when ordering, and we will configure accordingly.
Q12: Is there any performance difference between the two models at low temperatures?
Both models have identical low‑temperature performance: at –20 °C with 0.5 C discharge, capacity reaches ≥ 70 % of initial; at 55 °C with 0.5 C discharge, capacity reaches ≥ 98 % of initial. Both are suitable for winter or high‑altitude operations.

  • Use only the specified charger and follow the instruction manual.
  • Use the battery only in approved equipment.
  • Do not heat or throw the battery into fire.
  • Do not use or leave the battery near fire sources or in environments exceeding 60 °C, nor charge/discharge in such conditions.
  • Do not immerse the battery in water or get it wet.
  • Do not store or carry the battery together with metal objects (necklaces, hairpins, coins, screws, etc.).
  • Do not short‑circuit the positive and negative terminals with metal conductors.
  • When installing, ensure correct polarity (do not reverse).
  • Do not pierce the battery with sharp objects.
  • Do not disassemble or directly weld the battery.
  • Do not use batteries with severe scratches or deformation.
  • Read the operating instructions carefully before use. Improper operation may cause heating, fire, explosion, damage, or capacity loss.
WARNING (Charging & Usage)
  • Do not place the battery in heating appliances, washing machines, or high‑pressure containers.
  • Do not mix with dry cells or other primary batteries, nor with batteries of different packaging, types, or brands.
  • If the battery becomes hot, emits odour, changes colour, deforms, or shows any other abnormality during use, charging, or storage, stop using it immediately.
  • If the battery leaks or emits a pungent odour, move away from it immediately.
CAUTION (Daily Maintenance)
  • Keep out of reach of children to avoid accidental ingestion.
  • Before using the battery, thoroughly read the operation guide and fully understand the safety precautions.
  • Read the equipment manual before inserting or removing the battery.
  • Batteries have a limited service life. If operating time is significantly shorter than usual, replace the battery.
  • Remove the battery from the equipment immediately after its end‑of‑life.
  • For long‑term non‑use, remove the battery from the device and store in a low‑temperature, low‑humidity environment.
  • Charge, use, and store the battery away from static‑prone areas.
  • If the terminals become dirty, wipe clean with a dry cloth before use.
  • Operating temperature must remain within specified ranges: charge 0 ~ 45 °C, discharge -40 ~ 55 °C. Never use above 60 °C.
  • Do not over‑discharge: minimum cell voltage is 2.6 V (total 31.2 V). Going below this may cause permanent damage.
  • Dispose of used batteries properly by packaging them securely and placing in designated recycling bins.
