A: For 18S configurations, the industry standard is to connect two high-discharge 9S LiPo packs in series, or three 6S packs in series. Ensure the C-rating of your packs can comfortably handle sustained currents of 50-80A, with short bursts up to the ESC's 150A limit to prevent voltage sag under heavy lifting.
Q2: What flight controllers are compatible with the X11 MAX's PWM signal logic?
A: The integrated ESC natively handles 3.3V and 5V PWM logic levels (50-500Hz). It is plug-and-play compatible with industrial flight controllers running ArduPilot/PX4 (e.g., Pixhawk, Cube Orange/Black) as well as commercial controllers like DJI A3 and N3. The 1050-1950us pulse width is fixed and does not require manual ESC end-point calibration.

A: Operating continuously at the 150A limit is strongly discouraged. The system is designed to cruise optimally at 20-22kg of thrust per axis . The 150A rating is for short durations (wind gusts, rapid ascent). The motor and ESC housings are designed to leverage the immense downdraft of the 48-inch propellers for active heat dissipation.
Q4: Are the propellers pre-balanced, or do they require manual balancing upon installation?
A: The MFC 48x17.5 carbon fiber folding propellers are dynamically balanced out of the factory. Due to its propeller blade size of up to 48 inches, any manual sanding or modification will likely introduce severe micro-vibrations, triggering IMU errors on your flight controller. Replace blade sets only with identical, factory-paired sets.
